Accessibility

Last updated: February 11, 2026

PACE Canada supports the principles of accessibility in Ontario and is committed to improving access to our digital content for people with disabilities. We work to prevent and remove barriers and to provide fair, respectful, and effective support for people who need accommodations.
We are working to make www.setyourpace.ca accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice controls.
Standards and guidelines

We use guidance from the Web Accessibility Initiative of the World Wide Web Consortium and we aim for our website content to meet WCAG 2.0 Level A and AA success criteria, where practicable.
What we’re doing to support accessibility

Our website is built on Wix and we use available platform accessibility features and ongoing checks to improve accessibility.
As part of this effort, we work to:

  • maintain clear headings and reading order

  • use descriptive link text and consistent navigation

  • add alternative text for meaningful images

  • support keyboard navigation and visible focus

  • use color contrast intended to improve readability

  • improve the accessibility of forms (clear labels and instructions)

  • provide alternative formats when content is not fully accessible (for example, some PDFs)

Known limitations and third-party content

While we work to make our website as accessible as possible, some pages may not always pass automated accessibility validation tools due to limitations in the technologies used to manage web content.
Some third-party content (for example, embedded tools or forms presented through iFrames or similar technologies) may be outside of our direct control. When we use third-party tools, we encourage partners and vendors to follow accessibility standards and we look for more accessible options over time.

Alternative formats and support
If you need information from our website in an alternative format, or if you encounter an accessibility barrier, we will do our best to provide support and accessible alternatives upon request.
